Manufacturer's Description
VAPR bipolar electrosurgery Electrodes are specifically designed to function in conductive irrigating solutions. The VAPR “return” electrode is mounted on the shaft of the instrument and does not have to be oriented to be in contact with tissue during use. This eliminates the need for a separate patient ground electrode. Additionally, since only the tissue that is in contact with the active electrode is involved in the electrical circuit, the recognized safety features of bipolar electrosurgery are preserved.
The Mitek VAPR System is intended for resection, ablation and excision of soft tissue, and hemostasis of blood vessels in patients requiring arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow and wrist.
Condition & Testing
This device is in really nice cosmetic condition with no damage. I have 2 of these and one has superficial scratches in the top of the exterior paint. It powers on and runs through self-checks and appears to be functioning as designed. All rubber feet are present and manual is a disc. Power cord is good.
