Description
Titled - WAPSIPINICON COUNTRY CLUB, INDEPENDENCE, IOWA. B628This is a nice DOPS branded, circa 1925/30s, unmailed RPPC - REAL PHOTO POST CARD of the clubhouse at the Country Club and benches by the side of the shuffle board courts - note the cool old cable hung court lights and old steel water tower. Very Good to Excellent UNused shape. Typical corner rounding and edge wear, no major faults.
While we show all cards on the face of the listing page "used", check the actual descriptions. eBay forcing us to call a 100 year old card new - when it is actually NOS - which means New Old Stock - is silly, many are unmailed, but are unused.
Card shape descriptions are done to the Post Card trade standards: Mint is hard to find; Near Mint has very little if any wear; Excellent allows some wear and minor soiling; Very Good is better than average; Good is basically average; Fair is to allow more wear than normal; Poor is obvious. We try to call out any tears, minor wrinkles are on most any card. Creased means has been folded or badly bent. Cut down cards are hardly ever sold by us, if so will be told as such. Repros - destroyed, unless historic value - life is just to short for cheats! Most old cards are about 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches.
