The latest generation in the VAPR family of generators introduces the “Seamless Fault Safety Feature”, which cuts the power to the electrode as it approaches metal and automatically reactivates it when moved away. The VAPR is designed for a range of arthroscopic procedures including subacromial decompression, chrondoplasty, synovectomy, lateral release of the knee, anterior cruciate ligament debridement, menisectomy, and thermal modification.
